The ENT department at SN Krishna Hospital, Ujjain, treats a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and neck. Children and adults are seen in the OPD, and surgical procedures including tonsillectomy, septoplasty, and FESS are performed under general anaesthesia in a dedicated theatre. Audiometry and tympanometry are available on-site for hearing assessment.

Polyps and septal deformities causing nasal obstruction managed medically or surgically.
Thyroid nodules and cervical lymph node swelling requiring clinical assessment, ultrasound, and FNAC.
Endoscopic clearance of blocked sinuses for chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps with minimal nasal packing.

Each patient undergoes a thorough ear, nose, and throat examination using rigid and flexible endoscopes. Audiometry is performed for hearing complaints. Imaging and biopsy are arranged when a suspicious lesion is found. Medical management is tried first for most inflammatory conditions, with surgery reserved for cases that fail conservative treatment or carry a risk of serious complication.
ENT OPD runs Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM. Emergency cases such as foreign bodies in the ear or throat are seen through the emergency department.
No referral is required. Walk-in appointments are accepted during OPD hours.
Bring any previous audiometry or tympanometry reports, prescription history, and a list of medications — especially antibiotics and diuretics that can affect hearing.
Many ENT procedures including tonsillectomy, FESS, and myringoplasty are covered under government schemes. Confirm coverage at the billing desk before admission.
