Dedicated care at SN KrishnaDialysis

SN Krishna Hospital's Dialysis unit provides haemodialysis for patients with end-stage renal disease and acute kidney injury in Ujjain and the surrounding Malwa region. We offer dedicated slots six days a week, with capacity for urgent sessions when required.

Each dialysis station is equipped with individual monitors, and the unit is managed by trained dialysis nurses and technicians under nephrology supervision. Patients are assessed before each session and their prescriptions adjusted based on blood results and clinical progress.

Conditions we treat

End-Stage Renal Disease

Irreversible kidney failure requiring regular haemodialysis to remove waste and fluid.

Acute Kidney Injury

Sudden kidney shutdown from sepsis or fluid loss requiring urgent temporary dialysis support.

Fluid Overload & Electrolyte Emergency

Life-threatening hyperkalaemia or pulmonary oedema unresponsive to medical therapy.

Treatments & procedures

Intermittent Haemodialysis

Standard three-times-weekly dialysis sessions of three to four hours each for ESRD patients.

Acute Haemodialysis

Emergency dialysis sessions for AKI patients with critical electrolyte or fluid abnormalities.

Vascular Access Assessment

Evaluation of AVF maturity and catheter function before each session with care plan updates.

How we treat our patients

New patients undergo a baseline assessment including access evaluation, blood tests, and dialysis prescription calculation. Regular patients are reviewed by the nephrologist at planned intervals and after any significant change in clinical status. Infection control practices are followed strictly at each station. Patients requiring hospitalisation for complications are transferred to the nephrology ward.
